Solei, daughter of a sun goddess and shaman from a neighbouring kingdom to Juniper’s. Solei’s father, a renowned shaman, created a truce with Juniper’s father, allowing their kingdoms to be aligned. Both girls grew up somewhat lonely and have often confided in each other. Solei would be considered a demigod, and although her mum is loving towards her, contact has to be kept minimal. Her mother often visits her in dreams and visions to remind her daughter she is loved. Solei has the power to heal and spends time helping injured animals and insects. Her healing is sometimes extended to humans, but her power is something she tries to keep secret.
